Bringing the noise to South Jersey protests since 2026!

Welcome to Brass Uprising! We are a South-Jersey based brass band, formed in 2026 to support the community in protest against injustice and authoritarianism. Our mission is to help build a culture of resistance through sharing the joy of music. Our inspirations include Brass Solidarity, the Brass Liberation Orchestra, the DC Activist Street Band, the Rude Mechanical Orchestra, and many other groups that have come before us.

We are currently partnering with Cooper River Indivisible (CRI) to support their great work in our communities, including standing up to ICE cruelty and supporting the No Kings protest movement. We were proud to join CRI and the South Jersey Justice Choir for No Kings 3 in Camden, NJ on Saturday, March 28, 2026, but that was just the beginning.
